Using the familiar language of family, we seek partnerships to become:

• Parents (Mothers and Fathers) – These are sending churches, whose mission and vision is to see the Kingdom grow through the raising up, training, and sending of church planting teams into communities where the Gospel can be proclaimed, and new congregational works established.

• Grandparents – These are congregations who partner in the sending (though they may or may not themselves send people permanently) through resources, skilled team members, and influence. They support the church plant by attending special functions, sharing news of the church plant’s mission and functions, and by offering ongoing support to the “parents” when they need this assistance. 

• Aunts and Uncles – These are congregations and conference resources who help to celebrate the church plant by sharing the church plant’s news (social media, publications, etc.) across their own spaces of influence. They also partner by sharing resources with the church plant for special events and/or ongoing needs. 

• Siblings – These are brother and sister church plants who share the DNA of the parent congregation(s). They may come together with regularity for special events, raising of resources, or training. Leaders may cross over from one sibling to another with dynamic flexibility. As siblings age, they also are able to share lessons learned, resources available, and one another’s news.
